Although the past year was overshadowed by the global economic crisis, CGA-Canada has set a prudent and sustainable course. Our long-term experience, gained over a century of work, ensures our continued strength and vitality. Students are drawn to our program because of the depth and breadth that the CGA designation offers. Our members are recognized for their experience and expertise by employers and clients alike. And in the marketplace, accountants continue to be in high demand.
As always, we anticipate that the next fiscal year will bring new opportunities. Our key focus will be on: building our brand, investing in strategic alliances both nationally and internationally, continuing our national advertising campaign, strengthening our education and member support programs and advancing our work in the field of research and advocacy.
Given the positive outlook and strength of our association, we are confident about the future. We enter a new fiscal year on a solid financial footing and we continue to place great importance on seeking new opportunities for growth and advancement of the CGA designation.
