Jason Anderson, CGA, has recently accepted the position of director, finance and administration, with the Canola Council of Canada in Winnipeg.

Randy Asserfea, CFE, CGA, recently sat the CFE exam and passed all four subjects on first attempt to earn his CFE designation.

Robyn Brading, BAccS, CGA, has recently accepted the position of manager, financial reporting for Export Development Canada in Ottawa.

Adriano Capovilla, B.Comm., CGA, has accepted the position of controller for Zimmcor Inc. in Toronto.

Gordon D. Cook, FCGA, recently merged his firm, Gordon D. Cook & Company, with Walter P. Miller & Company, and will operate under the latter's name in St. John's, Newfoundland.

V. Krishnamoorthy, CGA, was recently promoted to vice-president of Danamark Industries Ltd., a water filtration company in Brampton, Ontario.

Thomas Kwok, CGA, recently obtained his certified public accountant (CPA) designation from the state of Colorado.

Carolyn Laidman-Betts, CGA, recently became a partner with the Kemp Harvey Group at the Vernon, B.C., office of Kemp Harvey Laidman-Betts.

Debra Lavack, CGA, formerly of Calgary, Alberta, has accepted the position of CFO with HangTen USA in San Diego, California.

Amalia Manucduc, student, recently accepted the position of accounts receivable supervisor at Allies Wholesale Garden Supplies Ltd. in Langley, B.C.

Dan Nichvoldow, CGA, recently became a partner with the Kemp Harvey Group at the Kelowna, B.C., office of Kemp Harvey Hunt Ward.

Sylvia Plotnikoff, CGA, recently became a partner with the Kemp Harvey Group at the Grand Forks, B.C., office of Kemp Harvey Burch Plotnikoff.
