Greg Draper, BHJ, CGA, recently accepted the position of senior manager of forensic services with Meyers Norris Penny LLP in Calgary.

Richard Durk, CPM, BA, CGA, has accepted the position of interim director, finance and administration with Toronto People With AIDS Foundation.

Robert W. C. Jack, MA, MPA, C.Dir., CGA, has been awarded the Chartered Director designation (C.Dir.) from The Directors College, a joint venture of the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada.

Karin Kennedy, CGA, has recently been appointed controller of Pioneer Balloon Canada Limited.

Hardeep Khangura, student, has accepted the position of business analyst with Ernst & Young LLP in Toronto.

Jon Lamb, B.Comm. (Hons), CIA, CISA, CGA, recently accepted the position of manager of HO audits for the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission in Winnipeg.

Connie Lukey, CGA, has been promoted to the position of controller at Contact Creative Services Inc. in London, Ontario.

John Maerzke, B.Sc., CGA, has recently been promoted to the position of team leader, decision support/director of finance with St. Helena Hospital — Adventist Health, in St. Helena, California.

Shiraz Merchant, CGA, has been promoted to the position of financial controller with Foster Parents Plan of Canada, which is part of Plan, an international, humanitarian, child-centred development organization, in Toronto.

Denis A. Parisien, CGA, recently accepted the position of manager of finance with Sterimax in Kingston, Ontario.

Jean Précourt, FCGA, was elected first vice-president of the Fédération internationale des experts-comptables francophones.

Eric Roger, CGA, has been promoted to the position of coordinator of external accounting services for the Solidarity Fund QFL, in Montréal.

Promise Sanipe, MA, CGA, recently earned a master of arts (economics) degree from the University of Ottawa.

Jeff Sutton, student, has recently been appointed senior manager, finance — Central Asia & Caucasus, with PricewaterhouseCoopers, based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

John Yuen, CGA, was recently made an Honorary Senior Fellow of Renison College of the University of Waterloo, for philanthropy and business achievement.
