Nancy Adams, CGA, has accepted the position of manager of finance at the Rick Hansen Man In Motion Foundation.
Randy Asserfea, CIA, CFE, CGAP, CGA, has passed the Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) exam of the Institute of Internal Auditors and has been promoted to senior financial analyst with Canada Revenue Agency in Ottawa.
Karine Hardy, CGA, has been appointed head, financial accounting, at TD Meloche Monnex in Montreal.
Pramod Jain, CGA, has been promoted to assistant vice-president at ABN AMRO Bank, Canadian operations, in Toronto.
Thomas Kwok, MBA, CGA, has earned an MBA degree in accounting from the City University, Seattle.
Winston Lim, CGA, is a large file case manager, currently on secondment to the Canada Revenue Agency's headquarters as a quality assurance adviser for Southern Ontario. He lives and works in Mississauga.
Lily Llaguno, CGA, has accepted the position of finance manager at Parks Foundation, Calgary.
Joe Martinez, CGA, of Edmonton, accepted the position of director of finance with Innovative Housing Society, a company specializing in creating, developing, and managing affordable and accessible housing.
David Albert Newman, B. Comm (Honours), CGA, has been appointed intermediate auditor with Manitoba Finance, Government of Manitoba.
Dean Radomsky, CGA, was appointed a partner at Ernst & Young LLP in Calgary.
Gaétan Ratté, CGA, was promoted to the position of debt advisor, capital assets and commodity taxes, for Ville de Lévis, in Quebec.
Gugu Sibanda, BBA (Financial Management), student, has been appointed accountant/senior bookkeeper at Galaxy Oilfield Service Ltd. in Edmonton.
Arthur C. Skinner, B.AccS, student, has received a bachelor of accounting sciences degree from the University of Calgary. He continues to work as branch manager with the Bank of Montreal in Port au Choix, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Almeva J. Stiles, CGA, has been awarded the Architectural Institute of British Columbia's Special Certificate of Recognition, in Vancouver.
Edward A. Taylor, CGA, has been appointed interim president and chief executive officer and a director of Edmonton-based Biomira Inc. He continues to retain his position as chief financial officer.
