LearnersTV offers free online courses on a wide variety of topics, including computers, accounting, and management. While this site won’t put any universities out of business, the lectures I reviewed were informative, well presented, and the testing tools were helpful in evaluating progress.

The Office of Energy Efficiency, part of Natural Resources Canada, operates this site, dedicated to issues surrounding energy conservation. The site includes plenty of tips as well as links to provincial grant and incentive programs.

One of the easiest things you can do to improve the stability of your computer is to have the latest hardware drivers installed for each component of your system. Simply go to the manufacturer’s site to determine whether any updates have been released, then follow the instructions provided to complete the installation. |
