Members of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada) approved a new governance model for the association at its annual general meeting in St. John’s, Newfoundland on September 14, 2007.
The new two-tiered governance model will have a Board of Directors comprised of 11 directors and an Affiliation Council comprised of delegates from each affiliate. Implementation will take place after the annual general meeting in October 2008.
