CGA-Canada, in partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey, now offers a program for Mexican students who want to earn their CGA designation.
Students in the CGA-Tecnológico de Monterrey Program will spend their first three years enrolled in public accounting and finance degree courses at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Their next year — comprised of two semesters and two advanced online courses — will be spent at the University of British Columbia (UBC), in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Students will then return to Mexico to complete their last two online courses, which will prepare them for the final professional exams. CGA accreditation will be awarded once students receive their degree in public accounting from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and subsequently obtain three years of work experience.
Three years at Tecnológico de Monterrey > One year at UBC > Online study to prepare for final professional exams > Completion of Tecnológico de Monterrey degree > Three years of work experience > CGA designation
