CGA-Canada and Laurentian University are pleased to announce the launch of the Laurentian Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in a new online format. This program is designed exclusively for CGA members and senior CGA students.
This 60-credit, English-language degree incorporates the CGA Program of Professional Studies, providing CGA members with advanced standing and enabling qualified CGA students to acquire their MBA and CGA designation concurrently. The program is based on the university's existing on-campus MBA, and can be completed in as little as 15 months.
Designed to enhance general management skills, the MBA curriculum focuses on subject areas such as organizational behaviour, marketing, operations, research, and strategy. Program electives, including advanced courses for students with an undergraduate degree in business, accommodate a wide range of interests and educational or professional backgrounds.
The online distance format utilizes a Web-based delivery system that allows MBA students to participate from anywhere and at any time. Knowledgeable faculty members also promote a progressive learning environment in which students are able to closely interact with both their instructors and an extensive network of their peers.
Applications for admission to the Laurentian online MBA will be accepted starting in November 2003, with courses slated to begin in June 2004.
