Ron Colucci, FCGA
Chair
Mr. Colucci is principal of R.V. Colucci, Certified General Accountant, a public practice in Mississauga, Ontario. He has been a public practitioner since 1988 and, prior to that, spent more than a decade in industry in various finance roles. Mr. Colucci is an active contributor to his community, offering his time and financial expertise to sports, health and education-related organizations. He has taught accounting at Sheridan College and has been a lecturer and seminar presenter for CGA Ontario and other professional organizations. Mr. Colucci earned an MBA from the University of Toronto and a BA (Honors) from York University. He joined the CGA-Canada board of directors in 2002-03 and was president of CGA Ontario in 2004-05. Mr. Colucci was granted a life membership by CGA Ontario in 2004 and is on the Public Accountants Council for Ontario. He received his CGA designation in 1979 and was awarded the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 1998.
Jackie Poirier, FCGA
Past Chair
Ms. Poirier is regional director, human resources, at Canada Revenue Agency in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is responsible for strategic human resources services to CRA management and employees throughout the Atlantic region. Ms. Poirier has held senior management positions in the federal government since 1997. Previously, she served as a regional director at Public Works and Government Services, and began her career in management at RBC Financial. She earned a BBA, accounting and management, from Mount Saint Vincent University. Ms. Poirier offers her time and expertise to the advisory board for the Centre for Women in Business at Mount Saint Vincent University. She has also volunteered to assist the university’s alumni association and various community events. Ms. Poirier has served on the CGA-Canada board of directors since 2001-02 and as a member of the executive committee since 2002-03. She was president of CGA Nova Scotia in 1999-2000. She received her CGA designation in 1993 and was awarded the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2002.
Tony Ducie, FCGA
First Vice Chair
Mr. Ducie, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has worked at Concentra Financial (formerly Co-operative Trust Company) for more than 30 years and is now senior vice president, strategic resources. Prior to this, he was vice president finance and treasurer from 1984 until 2005. Concentra is a federally regulated financial institution operating across Canada. Before joining Concentra in 1977, Mr. Ducie held a variety of accounting positions in industry. He was a member of the board of directors of Ronald McDonald House (RMH) from 1994 to 2003, including serving as president in 1997 and 1998. He continues to serve on the RMH finance committee and he manages the organization’s investment portfolio. He has contributed to many other organizations in his community over the years, such as the United Way. He is also a member of Financial Executives International. Mr. Ducie joined the CGA-Canada board of directors in 2002-03 and is past president of CGA Saskatchewan. He has served on several CGA committees both nationally and provincially. He earned his CGA designation in 1993 and the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2005.
Terry LeBlanc, FCGA
Second Vice Chair
Mr. LeBlanc, of Moncton, New Brunswick, is the account executive responsible for federal/ provincial relations for the Canada Revenue Agency in Atlantic Canada. Mr. LeBlanc has been working for the CRA since 1977. He has been an active volunteer for CGA New Brunswick, serving as secretary, third, second and first vice president before taking on the role of president in 2002. He graduated from the Université de Moncton with a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1977, received his CGA designation in 1983 and the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2002. Mr. LeBlanc has been on the board of CGA-Canada since 2004 and on the executive committee since 2006.
Joyce Evans, FCGA

Ms. Evans, of Dundas, Ontario, is the director of revenue for the City of Kitchener. In 1993, Ms. Evans earned her certified in management designation and, in 1997, a chartered manager designation. An advocate of life-long learning, she also has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Western Ontario. A CGA since 1992, Ms. Evans is past Chair of CGA Ontario and has been involved with the CGA-Canada board since 2001. She received her Ontario Distinguished Service Award in 2002, Life Membership in 2003 and the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2004.
Moe Jones, FCGA
Member at Large
Mr. Jones, retired, was a former partner and founder of Jones, Richards Accounting Practice in 1977. The company was one of the largest and premier accounting firms in Canada. He also spent several years as controller and vice-president of finance for a large group of building material companies. As well, he served as the general manager of a large building material company. Mr. Jones received his CGA designation in 1962 and has an extensive record of service to the association both provincially and nationally. He has served on numerous committees and chaired several conferences, and been on the board of CGA-BC since 2002 and the board of CGA-Canada since 2005. In 2001, he received the CGA-BC Harold Clarke Award of Merit and the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2005.
Pierre Samson, FCGA

Mr. Samson has been a partner in the management consulting firm Samson & Associates since 1990. He has more than 26 years of experience providing comprehensive auditing, program evaluation, general consulting and accounting services to public and private sector clients. Mr. Samson has written a number of articles on the modernization of comptrollership, financial information strategy (FIS), and FIS training strategy, which appeared in CGA Magazine. He led the CGA-Canada focus group that provided input to the Panel of Modernization of the Comptrollership in the Federal Government. Mr. Samson, along with his staff of over 50 professional consultants, has recently been involved in providing consulting services to numerous federal departments and agencies on implementing FIS, modern comptrollership, the management accountability framework and the internal audit policy. He received his B.B.A. in 1980 and his master’s in project management in 1988 from Université du Québec à Hull (now Université du Québec en Outaouais). He received his CGA in 1981 and the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 1999.
Anthony Ariganello, CPA (DE), FCGA
Secretary, Non-voting
Mr. Ariganello joined CGA-Canada in June 2003 as president and chief executive officer. Prior to joining CGA-Canada, he was president of Avon Canada and spent a decade with that company in several key financial management positions. He has also held senior positions with Nortel Networks. While with Avon, Mr. Ariganello served as chair of the board of directors of the Direct Sellers Association of Canada, as well as a member of the board of the Canadian Cosmetic Toiletries and Fragrance Association and the Nonprescription Drug Manufacturers Association of Canada. Additionally, he served on the Conference Board of Canada’s National Council of Financial Executives. Mr. Ariganello is a graduate of McGill University. He received his CGA designation in 1982 and was awarded the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2004. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (DE).

International Delegates
Jackie Poirier, BBA, FCGA
Jackie Poirier was appointed to the executive committee of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) for a four-year term, beginning November 2007. Ms. Poirier, past chair of CGA-Canada, is the sole Canadian representative on the committee.
With 34 member organizations in two dozen jurisdictions, CAPA is the largest of four regional accountancy organizations recognized by the International Federation of Accountants. Its geographical reach spans half the globe, from Canada to Pakistan. Its mission is to provide leadership in the development, enhancement and coordination of the accounting profession in the Asia-Pacific region. CAPA also promotes standards harmonization.
Ms. Poirier has served on the CGA-Canada board of directors since 2001 and as a member of the executive committee since 2002. She was president of CGA Nova Scotia in 1999-2000. A CGA since 1993, she was awarded the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 2002.

Sylvie Voghel, B.Sc, FCGA
Sylvie Voghel was appointed chair of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Small and Medium Practices (SMP) Committee in January 2006 for a three year term. This new committee evolved from the SMP Task Force, struck in 2001. Ms. Voghel began her work with IFAC as CGA-Canada’s technical advisor to the board from 2000 to 2003. She was a member of the IFAC Governance Task Force in 2002. In 2003, she was appointed to the IFAC board of directors for a two year term, and re-appointed to this board in 2005 for another three year term. She chaired the IFAC SMP/SME and Developing Nations Consultative Conference in Prague in 2005.
Ms. Vogel served as chair of CGA-Canada in 1999-2000. She also contributed many years of service to numerous committees. She served as president of the Ordre des CGA du Québec in 1995-96 and held various board positions from 1991 to 1997. Ms. Voghel was named life member of the Ordre des CGA du Québec and was awarded the CGA-Canada Fellowship (FCGA) designation in 1994.
She is the co-owner of Enveloppe Concept Inc., an envelope manufacturing business in Montreal.
