Overview 

In today’s complex business world, financial specialists require increasingly sophisticated skills and knowledge. The CGA program prepares candidates to analyze and deliver clear, transparent, and reliable financial information – and to develop and present business strategies based on that information.

CGAs are employed in diverse and dynamic positions across a wide spectrum of business, industry, government, not-for-profit, and public practice sectors.

CGA offers a flexible, online study program that will give you with the tools you need to succeed as an accounting and financial management professional – no matter where your career takes you.

CGA-Canada’s comprehensive educational program provides a state-of-the-art online learning environment, accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its integrated technology allows students to network with course directors, tutors, academic advisors and colleagues.

All students in the CGA program are required to obtain a bachelor's degree prior to certification. For students who enter the program without a degree, CGA offers unique degree opportunities.

CGAs and students must adhere to the CGA-Canada Code of Ethical Principles and Rules of Conduct, and all CGA courses include instruction in professional business ethics.
